ATV Parade World Record

Last week I had the opportunity to be a part of the new World Record for an ATV Parade held in Richfield, Utah on September 16, 2009.  It was so much fun.  There were so many ATV’s lined up to break the world record for the longest ATV parade that evening.  The record was previously held by a group in Minnesota at 1,632 ATV’s.  But that record was broken last week in Utah with a grand total of 2,014 ATV’s.  There were all ages of “kids” there enjoying the outdoors and a great hobby.  I am new to this ATV world.  But I love it!

There is nothing better than getting outdoors and enjoying the scenes of nature where regular cars just can’t go.  From our house we can drive to a number of locations to see some of the most spectacular scenery you can ever find.  I have seen the bright autumn leaves, the sparkling winter snow, the vibrant colors of spring and the warm greens of summer.  Not to mention all of the wildlife; elk, deer, rabbits,

an occasional moose and since we are driving through grazing country, lots of cows!

Being a part of the world record was a lot of fun.  It was all a part of the Rocky Mountain ATV Jamboree that is held in Richfield, Utah every year.  It was great to see so many people riding for such a fun event.

The parade was dedicated to Mark Fuellenbach who passed away in April.  He was the publisher of the Richfield Reaper and an ATV enthusiast.
