One of the last days of autumn before the snow started falling we took a short ride over to the Maple Grove campground located just 15 miles south of Scipio and then 4 miles off US 50 on Forest Road 101. Kirk told me the leaves were amazing. You know what? He was right. Our bonus for the ride was seeing wild turkeys and a mother deer and her baby fawn. I love to get in and go on grand adventures.
